Thanks to all MGA Members for your generous donations to Hospice of Marion County over the past 12 months. On Chicken Day February 4th, 2026, the MGA presented Hospice a check (pictured below) for $3000. The check was accepted by Hospice Philanthropy Manager Stacey Perlmutter and Foundation Administrative Coordinator Meredith Rogers. The OTOW MGA has donated nearly $8000 towards the renovation of the Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Center that will be opened on Friday March 13th, 2026.

REMINDER: Your 2026 MGA Dues must be paid by January 12, 2026 in order to play in MGA Events.

The 2026 MGA Board of Directors Elections were held during our Chicken Day Luncheon on December 3rd. Members cast 77 ballots which included 9 write-in votes to fill our 3 open positions. Officers McGuinness and Neville as well as Director Polizzotti were re-elected to serve 3 year terms. Member Joe Baumgartner was chosen through write-in votes to serve on the MGA Advisory Panel. Thanks to all members that took part in the process.

Elections to the 2026 MGA Board will be held on Chicken Day Wednesday 12/03/2025. Ballots will be available in the Player's Lounge some time in November. For anyone interested in running for a position on the board, the Election Candidate Sign-up Sheet will be available in the Player's Lounge beginning Wednesday 10/01/2025.

After serving as the OTOW MGA Treasurer for 7 years, Rusty Rhodes has retired. Robert (Bob) Kuhl was voted in today by the MGA Board as the new Treasurer, effective immediately. Please welcome Bob and thank Rusty for his service the next time you see them.

On Chicken Day 2/5/25, your generous donations from 2024 were presented to Hospice of Marion County. Below is a letter received from their Interim Executive Director... 

Gentlemen,

Thank you so much for your hospitality, today, and for your generous check presentation by the Men’s Golf Association of On Top of the World! 

Stacey and I appreciated the opportunity to be there, to thank your board and your group personally, to hear personal hospice stories of the golfers and hospitality hosts in the room, and for your continued dedication to our mission.  Your group and community are amazing.

Yes, thank you for letting us know that you want your donation to go toward our Capital Campaign; the fundraised dollars will go toward the renovation of the Hospice of Marion County Center for the Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Program.  The Hospice of Marion County Foundation is matching the first $500,000 of the campaign; therefore, your $2,480 has become $4,960.  Thank you, again!  And thank you for forwarding the wonderful photo so quickly.  We plan to post this to our social media sites.

2024 OTOW MGA Election Results

Chicken Day May 1st 2024

Tary Bole recorded a Hole-in-One @ the Par 3 - 15th hole on the Tortoise & Hare Course during our 4/24/24 MGA Shamble Event. Treasurer Rusty Rhodes presented Tary with a check from the OTOW MGA Hole-in-One Fund for $250 to recognize his achievement. Great job Tary!

Golf only was cancelled due to inclement weather. The ladies did serve the Chicken and fixins as usual beginning @ 1pm.

Team Stableford February 21st 2024

Rino D'Amico recorded a Hole-in-One @ the Par 3 - 6th hole on The Links Course today during the MGA's Team Stableford Event. Please join the MGA Board in congratulating Rino the next time you see him. Way to go RINO!!!
